Who can become a member?
Any adult with a valid ID who agrees to the cooperative's bylaws, buys the minimum shares and pays the registration fee.
How soon can I get a loan?
After a period of regular saving set by the bylaws. The amount depends on your savings, your shares and your guarantors.
Can I withdraw my savings?
Regular savings can be withdrawn at the office. Fixed-term savings are paid at the end of the term. Savings held as loan security stay until the loan is repaid.
How is the digital equb different from a normal equb?
The rules are the same. The difference is the record: payments and the order of turns are kept in the Santim system and shown to every member.
What happens to my shares if I leave?
You can apply to leave. Your share value and savings are paid back after any open loans are settled, following the bylaws.
